The client, Sonimart Pvt. Ltd., needed a fully streamlined and automated workflow for their VPS hosting services. Their existing process was heavily manual, which created delays, billing errors, and inconsistent customer onboarding.
They required a centralized system where customers could purchase VPS plans, receive instant provisioning, access a self-service panel, and get automated invoices all without manual intervention.
My Role
As the Developer & Technical Implementation Lead, I was responsible for:
- Understanding the client’s end-to-end hosting process
- Designing an automation-first system using WHMCS
- Integrating WHMCS with WordPress front-end
- Configuring payment gateways & GST rules
- Customizing templates, UI, and workflows
- Ensuring the system was secure, scalable, and compliant
Challenges
1. Manual billing causing delays
The client relied on manually created invoices that often resulted in:
