Fovera – Shopify E-Commerce Experience

Creating a customer-focused Shopify experience for a growing wellness, support and rehabilitation products brand.

Fovera is an e-commerce brand offering products across wellness, comfort, support and rehabilitation categories.

The project focused on creating and improving a dedicated Shopify e-commerce experience where customers could easily discover products based on their needs, explore categories and understand product information before purchasing.

A key part of the project was defining the customer journey, homepage structure, navigation and product-page experience, followed by Shopify development and custom implementation. The current website reflects this category-led approach, including product discovery through categories and customer concerns.

  • Location :India
  • Project Type :E-Commerce Development
  • Duration :3 Months

The Challenge

Fovera needed an e-commerce experience that could effectively present a broad and diverse product catalogue while keeping the customer journey simple.

The challenge was to:

  • Organize a wide range of products clearly
  • Make products easy to discover
  • Structure the homepage around customer needs
  • Create intuitive navigation across devices
  • Present detailed product information clearly
  • Provide a familiar e-commerce shopping experience
  • Build the required experience within Shopify

Core challenge

How could we make a broad product catalogue easy to explore while creating a simple and familiar customer journey from homepage discovery to product purchase?

My Role

Project Manager / E-Commerce Solution Delivery

I worked with the client and development team to define the e-commerce structure and manage the project from planning through development and launch.

My responsibilities included:

  • Communicating with the client and understanding requirements
  • Defining the project strategy with the team
  • Planning the homepage structure and customer journey
  • Defining navigation and product discovery
  • Discussing category structure and customer entry points
  • Defining product-page requirements
  • Coordinating the development team
  • Reviewing the implementation across mobile and desktop
  • Coordinating custom Shopify development
  • Supporting the client through final delivery and launch

E-Commerce UX Strategy

A major part of the project was determining how customers should navigate the store.

Rather than treating the homepage as a collection of promotional sections, we defined each section based on its role in the customer journey.

Homepage Structure

We planned multiple entry points so customers could discover products through categories, concerns and featured products.

The current Fovera structure reflects this approach with areas such as Shop by Categories, Shop by Concerns, Must Have Products and Best Sellers. Fovera

Product Discovery

The catalogue needed to support different ways of finding products.

Customers could discover products based on:

  • Product category
  • Specific concern
  • Featured products
  • Popular products
  • Individual product requirements

Product Detail Experience

The product page was another important part of the project.

The goal was to make key information immediately accessible while maintaining a familiar e-commerce structure.

The product experience included:The screenshots you provided show this structure clearly.

The screenshots you provided show this structure clearly.

Shopify Development

The website was developed on Shopify, with custom development used where required to achieve the planned experience.

The team worked across:

  • Shopify configuration
  • Homepage development
  • Category and collection structure
  • Customer-concern navigation
  • Product detail pages
  • Custom sections
  • Promotional components
  • Responsive layouts
  • Mobile and desktop experiences
  • E-commerce functionality

The objective was to translate the agreed UX and customer journey into a practical, manageable Shopify implementation.

Client Collaboration

The project involved continuous communication with the client throughout planning and delivery.

We discussed:

  • How the homepage should be structured
  • Why particular sections were required
  • How customers should navigate the store
  • How categories should be presented
  • How products should be discovered
  • What information should be prioritized on product pages
  • How the experience should work across devices

I worked closely with the development team to convert these requirements into the final Shopify implementation.

Outcome

The Shopify e-commerce experience was successfully delivered with a structured approach to product discovery, customer navigation and product presentation.

The live website currently demonstrates the category- and concern-led structure we are describing in the case study.
